A) INTRODUCTION.

B) LIST OF BIBLES THAT MADE CHANGES.

C) TO THE LIST.

D) NEW TESTAMENT.

DISCLAIMER:  Before we get started, let me always state that, “Whatever version you will read and apply is the one you should use.”  However, if that version leads you away from solid doctrine, reader beware.

A) INTRODUCTION.

Back In 2010, There Were About 150 Different Versions Of The Bible.  Why So Many Different Versions Of The Bible, And How Is It That You Can Make Money Today, Printing A New Version Of The Bible?

The Answer Is -- Copywrite.  And How Do You Obtain A Copywrite For A New Bible Version?  The Law States That Your Version Must Be At Least 10% Different Than All Of The Others.

Quickly:  Verses effected negatively (or on purpose), I will just list a few.

New American Standard = 909.

Revised Version = 788.

New World Translation (JW Translation) = 767.  Original Jehovah’s Witnesses Bible = 120.

New International Version = 695.

Good News = 614.

Amplified = 484.

Douay-Ames = 421.

New King James Version ignores the “Textus Receptus” = 1200 Times.

What is interesting to note is that of the 120 changes in the “Old Jehovah’s Witness Bible,” was followed by every other (per) version.  An example would be (see foot notes in your per-versions) Mark 16:9-20.

DO YOU SEE A PROBLEM HERE?

Keep this in mind when you consider that you cannot receive a copyright (make money), unless there is a 10% difference from the original (“KJV’s” “Textus Receptus”), or other versions already upon the market.  Since there are over 150 English versions of the Bible right now, with more coming, if the first Bible produced after 1881 was (had to be) 10% different (in error or changed on purpose in order to receive their copyright, i.e., make money), then how bad is the 150th one?

Please do not accuse me of believing that the “KJV” is the only Bible you should own or that It is without any errors; for It does have It’s errors and problems.  However, It is still the best translation in English available out there.  And even more importantly, for over 400 years It has been critiqued; attacked (which is good, because research has only helped It); and most (if not all) of Its errors are known (which you can know using just about any honest Bible Commentary).

From the “Dublin Review,” July, 1881 (NOTE THE DATE; see my Bible Study:  BIBLE VERSION AFTER 1881):  “By the sole authority of textual criticism these men have dared to vote away some forty verses of the inspired Word.  The Eunuch’s Baptismal Profession of Faith is gone; and the Angel of the Pool of Bethesda has vanished; but the Angel of the Agony remains -- till the nest Revision.  The Heavenly Witnesses have departed, and no marginal note mourns their loss.  The last twelve verses of St. Mark are detached from the rest of the Gospel, as if ready for removal as soon as Dean Burgon dies.  The account of the woman taken in adultery is placed in brackets, awaiting excision.  Many other passages have a mark set against them in the margin to show that, like forest trees, they are shortly destined for the critic’s axe.  Who can tell when the destruction will cease?”

Suffice it to say, whichever version you decide to read, remember that the Word of God is Spiritually understood when all is said and done.  Keeping in mind that the “New {Per] Versions” attack the “Deity of Christ.”
