LIES IN THE BIBLE
IN ORDER AS THEY APPEAR.

HA-HA

A) INTRODUCTION.

B) TO THE LIES.

C) CONCLUSION.

A) INTRODUCTION

Of course, the First lie (liar) ever recorded is not recorded.  We are simply told that Satan is the father of them in John 8:44.  Most likely it had something to do with Satan telling the angels how God’s Law’s were unjust; for it is God’s Law’s that are still under attack today.

C) CONCLUSION

There are other lies or possible lies in the Bible that are not specific as to a person or a specific group that lies.  Such as Achan taking goods from the city of Ai, but we don’t know that he specifically lied about it.  Or Deuteronomy 29:19 & Psalm 10:13 where no specific individual is mentioned, but all liars are subject to the statement.  See also such verses as Jeremiah 4:10; 5:31; 14:13; 23:17 & 25; Ezekiel 12:22; 13:10; Micah 3:11; Luke 15:29; Colossians 3:9; First Timothy 4:2; Second Timothy 3:8.

However, here is the right thing to do:

“Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight.”  Proverbs 12:22.

“A faithful witness will not lie:  but a false witness will utter lies.”  Proverbs 14:5.

“Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour:  for we are members one of another.”  Ephesians 4:25.

“Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds.”  Colossians 3:9.
